Working in-house at Oppidan, my role spans the full breadth of the brand: web design, presentations, campaigns, print, social media, illustration, animation and videography.
A core part of the work is creating resources for young people - materials used in 1:1 settings at home and within our school-based programmes. More recently I've been producing a monthly Journal cover, each one responding to what's happening in education or capturing the spirit of the season.
The role has pushed me into areas I've had to teach myself. In videography, I've filmed cohorts of mentors and taken on weekly colour grading and editing for our schools podcast Heads & Tales.
I've also built up a working knowledge of After Effects, most recently using it to produce an animated version of our schools impact report - a companion piece to the printed version that brings the data to life.
